Terms of Service

Welcome to KeptTally. KeptTally is a service of SeattleCraft LLC, a Washington limited liability company ("we", "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the KeptTally website and our multi-shop profit tracking application (together, the "Service"). By accessing or using KeptTally, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Etsy API disclaimer

The term “Etsy” is a trademark of Etsy, Inc. KeptTally uses the Etsy API but is not endorsed, certified or sponsored by Etsy, Inc. KeptTally is an independent third-party service that helps multi-shop sellers understand their profit and fees.

2. Description of the Service

KeptTally provides sales summaries, net profit calculation and a multi-shop ledger for online sellers. To use the Service you upload the files you download from your Etsy seller account(s). When a direct connection is offered, you can instead grant read-only access on Etsy's own authorization screen (OAuth) and disconnect at any time. You keep full ownership of your Etsy data.

3. The closed beta

KeptTally is in a closed beta. Only people we invite can sign up, and the invite is tied to the email address we sent it to.

  • Free beta pass: every invited seller gets 90 days of the whole Service at no charge. We do not ask for a card and nothing renews on its own.
  • When the pass ends: your account becomes view-only. You can still see and export your data, but you cannot upload new files. We email you before anything changes, and we do not delete your data when the pass ends.
  • Feedback: posts you share on the in-app feedback board are visible to other beta sellers with your first name and last initial. Do not include customer names or order numbers.

We may change the beta or its length with notice by email. The terms for paid use, if any, will be shared with you before they apply.

4. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential. You agree not to use KeptTally for anything unlawful, and not to violate Etsy's House Rules or API Terms of Use.

5. Limitation of liability

KeptTally is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work to make our profit and fee calculations accurate, but we do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free or that it will match your Etsy payouts in every case. To the extent the law allows, KeptTally is not liable for direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages from your use of the Service or from decisions you make based on its data. KeptTally is not a substitute for professional accounting or tax advice.

6. Changes to these Terms

We may change these Terms. If a change is material, we will tell you by email or in the Service. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the revised Terms.
