Privacy Policy
Effective date: November 4, 2026
KeptTally is a service of SeattleCraft LLC, a Washington limited liability company ("we", "us"). This explains what we collect when you use our website and application, why, and how you can control it.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: your email address and name. We do not take payments during the beta, so we hold no card details.
- Etsy data: the order, listing and deposit files you upload, which contain shop names, listings, orders and fee records. If you connect a shop through Etsy once that is offered, we collect the same kinds of data and request only the read-only scopes shops_r, listings_r, transactions_r. We never see or store your Etsy password.
- Waitlist: if you join the beta waitlist, we keep your email address, the time you joined and, if you tell us, how many Etsy shops you run.
- Data you enter: costs, settings and the feedback you post.
- Usage data: during the beta we see which features are used (for example sign-in frequency and the answers to our short questions), to help us improve the Service.
2. How we use it
- To calculate and show your net profit, cost of goods and shop performance.
- To sync and show all of your connected shops on one dashboard.
- To send product updates, security alerts and support replies.
- To email people on the waitlist about their invite, and nothing else. Write to us to be removed.
Your seller data is used only to provide the service and is not used for any other purpose.
The service is read-only: it never edits listings, changes prices or sends messages for you. We do not use your data for advertising.
3. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information or Etsy shop data. One seller's data is never shown to another seller. We share information only with service providers (such as hosting and email providers) so that they can operate KeptTally for us, and when the law requires it.
4. Security
We use encryption in transit (TLS) and access controls, and we store your Etsy OAuth tokens encrypted. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Connecting, deleting and retention
If you connect a shop, you do it on Etsy's own authorization screen. You can revoke access at any time from the Apps page of your Etsy account or by disconnecting the shop in KeptTally. After you disconnect, we stop reading from that shop.
We keep your data while your account is active. In Settings you can export all your data, delete one shop's files, delete all your data or delete your account. Deleted data leaves KeptTally right away and is removed from our backups within 30 days, except what we must keep by law. Etsy-sourced data is also handled in line with Etsy's API Terms of Use.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data. To use these rights, contact us.
